More cutting with the trimmer done
The trench where the peas had been, was emptied of peas and weeds, filled in and then the roses were planted there.
The cherry tree was planted in a place where the ground was lower than the surrounding area, so on top of the returned soil, I put "grass-mush" (decomposed grass clippings), horse manure, bush clippings and wood chips.
